About Kenji Liu

At four years old, I was already decorating my parents’ walls with drawings, eventually moving from crayons to charcoal and acrylic paints. Later, armed with a Commodore 64 desktop and 300 baud modem, I wrote my first code and joined the dial-up internet.
Today, I am a multidisciplinary artist specializing in website design, logos, posters, and postcards, using graphic design and illustration to help clients meet their communications goals.
With a professional background in social sciences, popular education, arts administration, grant writing, and community program development, I am perfectly positioned to develop design solutions that meet the needs of individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations.
I am also a published poet and essayist whose writing explores the interweaving of history with the urgent task of creating a new culture of social justice. You can read me in journals, blogs, and real paper books.
I look forward to discussing my work with you!
I am available to teach workshops, give presentations, and discuss my visual and literary work in person and via Skype. I teach workshops on a variety of subjects, including meditation and writing, and theatre improv for writers and other artists.
